Egrets Like To Help Me Mow

They show up the minute I start to mow the yard and hang out the entire time!

This one is my favorite. He comes every time.

The next door chickens show up too. But these new ones don't seem to need to be in the mowers way like the old ones did.

a beef bone

I took a class this last weekend on how to carve a
traditional Hawaiian Fish Hook from a beef bone.  
Gordon "Umi" Kai taught the class up at
the Hui No'eau Visual Arts Center.

It was great fun but hard.

No Jim, you don't get to use this one for fishing.
It's mine.

Guinea Hen and goose feather lei

I made this feather lei but now I have a problem. I need a new hat! This one isn't mine and it is too small anyway.

Here is a photo of me just starting it. Five feathers per row of the black goose.

Now I just need these guys to drop all their feathers! Come on boys give them up!
