Air Chasing

When I was in Tucson this February for the gem show, Carol de Maintenon (Benicia Bead), Linda Mullaney and I took an Air Chasing Class with Kim St. Jean at Art Retreat in the Desert. It was a great class. 

I didn't finish one of my pieces, so it has sat on my workbench waiting. And waiting.  This last week, I finally knew what I wanted to do with it.
 

I think it turned out quite nice.

We played tourist this weekend

Husband's sister and husband came down from Oregon for the weekend. "A" and her boyfriend were here as well.  We headed out for a day in San Francisco. The Ferry Building Farmers' Market and then off to tour Alcatraz. Or so we thought. Nope, sold out until Tuesday.

So we wandered down to Pier 39 and watched the seals for awhile. Then back to the Ferry Building for beers, oysters and appetizers. It was a wonderful sunny day.

We rode in cars, the BART, the trolley and used our legs. A fun day.
