So What side of your car is the gas tank on?

Kolby Fehlberg-BurnsComment

We have been having this conversation around our house lately. So how do you tell, you ask?

Look at your dash,  See the little fuel tank. Is there a little arrow?

That's the side. Magic, right?  Okay, if you don't have an arrow look for the side that has the hose on it.  That should be the side.

Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy.
May your new year be as easy peasy as finding your fuel tank.

Thanks for listening.

Shopping on Date Night

Kolby Fehlberg-BurnsComment

Husband and I went to Home Depot the other night to pick up a few things he needed.  I wandered around looking for stocking stuffers. As usual, I finished first and was waiting for him by the checkout.

I guess I was too close to the stand because I was asked over and over if I was in line. I moved down a bit but was still asked that.

Again, I was asked "Are you in line?"

"No, I am looking for a husband. Oh, I know it's Christmas, but I'm not shopping for a husband!"

"I have one." I said.

The guy said "That's funny!"

It was our 31st wedding anniversary. Dinner and Home Depot.

Thanks for listening.

This Morning

Kolby Fehlberg-BurnsComment

Waking up a little quiet this morning. Tomorrow, I head back to Oakland.
This rainbow greeted me.

The end of the rainbow was in our neighbors' yard. There was a double for just a second.

Then it started to pour!

I love multiples

Kolby Fehlberg-Burns2 Comments

Multiples of this, multiples of that, I collect multiples.

On our coffee table

On our coffee table

This collection started with just one little piece.  Now every time I see this pattern at a thrift store, garage sale or the White Elephant Sale, I have to "save" it and bring it home. It isn't a fancy or even a rare pattern.  I think that it might even be a simple Asian restaurant pattern. But I like it, I have "saved" a few and it make me smile.

I stacked the little tea cups in the bowls like I have seen in restaurants.

The many sided tin on the left, my mom gave me.  It was black and sticky with grime. I think an old man kept his "tabacca" in it.  Now that I have gotten all the grime off it, it is pretty.

So, from time to time, I will show you some of my other multiples.  I bet you can't guess what they are! Don't think usual, they aren't dolls, teaspoons, coins...

Thanks for listening.
