I found this little piece of abalone in a small sack of stones.  It looked like someone had cut this shell piece from a bigger one and left this to be found.  It has three little holes drilled into it near the bottom. The abalone has a wonderful rainbow shine to it.

This piece was made in a little house on Maui overlooking the ocean.

The overall size is 2" tall and 1" wide. Wire wrapped with anti-tarnish silver plated copper wire.
